In 2018, 27 outstanding students were accepted to participate in San Diego's annual Students of the Year campaign. These students and their teams raised a record-breaking $245,000 for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society in seven short weeks.
For motivated high school students, Students of the Year is the leadership development and philanthropy program that ensures they stand out among peers when engaging with college and/or future employers. Through guidance and mentoring from experienced professionals at LLS - the non-profit with a track record of innovation and success - they will make a real impact in the fight against blood cancers.
Congratulations to our San Diego Student of the Year winner, Sophia LeRose of Torrey Pines High School; and to Runner-Up Hannah Wang and Mimi Mayer of Canyon Crest Academy!
