On November 14, 2011, one-year old Maddy was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL). Maddy endured 26 months of chemotherapy that included surgeries and hundreds of pills. Her least favorite parts were the frequent spinal taps. The good news is that Maddy is now a completely healthy 6 year old!
She is active and enjoys spending time with her loving family. Some of Maddy’s favorite things are swimming, skating, and believe it or not, green olives! When she grows up she hopes to become an artist. With the support of her parents and older brother Daniel, she will be able to achieve anything! To learn more about Maddy click here.
And to all of you participating in Student Series this year, Maddy wants you to know that “You are doing awesome!”
