For motivated high school students, Students of the Year is the leadership development and philanthropy program that ensures they stand out among their peers when engaging with colleges and/or future employers.
Through guidance and mentoring from experienced professionals at LLS - the non-profit with a track record of innovation and success - they will make a real impact in the fight against blood cancers.
In 2018, The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society hosted its second Students of the Year campaign in the Augusta market. Five outstanding students signed up to participate, raising over $124,000 in seven short weeks!
Congratulations to our Augusta Students of the Year winner, Lilly Howard, of Greenbrier High School, and to runner-up, CJ Pearson, of Evans High School for this year's exceptional campaign! And Congratulations to Anne Elise Garrison, of Westminster Schools of Augusta, for winning the Mission Awareness Award.
