The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Students of the Year is a philanthropic leadership development program for highly-motivated high school leaders.
Students are nominated by their schools, friends, or family members to participate, and during a seven-week-long fundraising competition, students utilize professional skills such as entrepreneurship, marketing, and project management in order to raise funds on behalf of LLS. Student leaders fundraise in honor of children who are blood cancer survivors, our Honored Heroes. Each dollar counts as one vote, and totals are kept secret until the Grand Finale Celebration. At the Grand Finale, we'll award the title Student(s) of the Year and a scholarship to the student or student group who raises the most funds during the competition.
Students will experience a journey of professional growth, ensuring that they will stand out when preparing for college and beyond, and make a real impact in the fight against blood cancers.
